Researchers at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset, NY are conducting a national search for sisters to help with lupus research.
They're looking for families in which one sister or half-sister between the ages of 10-35 has systemic lupus and another sister or half-sister in this same age range doesn't. This will enable the researchers to study the disease course, including changes that occur before lupus develops.
To enroll or for more information, call Bonnie Gonzales, R.N. or Sally Kalan, R.N. at 877-698-9467 or email SisSLE@nhs.edu or visit the website.
