Is Lyme Disease Linked to Fatal Shooting of Pastor

Chronic Lyme disease is frequently misdiagnosed as multiple sclerosis. Many of the symptoms are the same and the underlying pathology is often similar. Read about the role Lyme disease played in the recent shooting of a pastor in Illinois.

Because of the similarities in disease pathology, Dr. Kenneth Singleton has found that low dose naltrexone is an effective therapy for chronic Lyme disease. The underlying cause in both disorders is an accumulation of the excitotoxin glutamate.
