My daughters allergies just arent controlled by otc meds any longer. She is seeing a new allergist next month and I am guessing she will end up with allergy shots. Will these shots affect the thyroid or the antibodies at all?

    Hi,
Her allergies are what caused the rise in TSI. A rise in IgE caused by allergies is associated with a rise in TSI. the shots work well. My son was on them for several years. The shots can cause a rise in TsI but it doesn't mean she's not in remission. Her FT4 level is the most important factor in determining thyroid status. Best, Elaine
