Really sorry for the long absence.
Its been much harder than i thought adjusting to mom's progressing dementia, and then covid. Its pretty different when a very old person gets the covid even if vaccinated and boosted, and till now, she's still suffering symptoms despite being covid negative for quite some time. The only saving grace is that i had a very mild case of covid otherwise, i don't know how we would have managed as i have no help with mom. Fortunately also, my unbalanced thyroid eventually moved into balance which has helped a great deal.

It's good to hear from you. My mother had Alzheimer's disease so I have an idea of what you're going through. I'm glad your thyroid is back in balance.
We did a quick family trip to Costa Rica a few weeks ago and last week I had another CT scan and treatment. One new prominent lesion on the right lung lobe but for now we'll repeat it in July and hopefully it'll be gone. Otherwise I'm still considered as having no evidence of disease. Will finish the trial in August. Best to you and your mother, Elaine
