    Hi Elaine,

I hope you are doing well and having lots of good days.

I wrote earlier asking about LDN and chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer (ascites under lungs and in abdomen). But now that I'm in a maintenance phase (after chemotherapy, debulking and hysterectomy, and more chemo), the plan is to take olaparib daily and get the biologic Avastin every three weeks.

We had hoped the Avastin alone would control the Cancer AG 125 levels but that's clearly not the case. I regret we can't reduce the dose of olaparib as I only weigh 94 lbs. currently, but that seems to be impossible.

I'll research further on the LDN site, but wondered if you see a problem with adding LDN.

Thanks, Elaine! I'm eternally grateful for your guidance in getting to remission from Graves' in 2000-2003.

    Best wishes,
    Nicole B.

    Hi Nicole,
No problem adding LDN since you're not on any opiates. I also occasionally take mistletoe, turkey tail mushroom extract, low dose THC gummies at night and a few other things. I still take olaparib daily and no longer have side effects from it. I did lose weight at the start since it was hard to eat. I get durvalumab infusions every 4 weeks and I have mebendazole on hand in case things change. I tried it and no side effects. I'm still NED since March 2022 and staying with the trial. I wish you the best and hope LDN helps. Elaine
