    Sorry to hear your brother couldn't make it, and that your nephew is so unwell. I hope he's feeling better now.

    Are things going as planned with the new drugs?

    Hi Ling,
    The new drugs are known to make people feel generally unwell and that's true. Mostly nausea and fatigue. But it's reported that if patients can handle the symptoms for 2 months the symptoms begin to abate. One month down with second treatment this Weds.
    The meds can also cause thyroid problems and my FT3 rose quite a bit to 7.3 but I'll have it repeated soon as I don't have any hyper symptoms. So overall, I'm doing ok
    My brother and nephew will be visiting in March and hopefully by then Covid will be less of a problem.
    Hopefully as symptoms improve for me, I'll be here more often. Best, Elaine
