    Hello Elaine

Hope all is going well with you and your family. Its been a hot dry summer here in BC and the fires have taken a toll on us all. First time ever I've prayed for lots of rain and the cool days of fall. I've been off of tapozole for 12 months now...my T4f and T3f were dropping so I weaned myself off the drug. My thyroid did become normal at least according to the labs and the doctor. I think they're low and I'd like your input. Ill give you the last 3 lab results. Some have all 3 thyroid readings and others just 2.

    Hi,
About 20% of Graves' patients move into mild hypothyroidism after achieving remission and it looks as though you may be one of them. This happens when we begin producing more blocking than stimulating (TSI) TSH receptor antibodies. Both of these antibodies falsely lower the TSH result, so this result can be very misleading.
While this condition can be temporary it does require treatment when symptoms of hypothyroidism are present. Ask your doctor about this on your last visit.

Summer is already merging into fall here. the mornings and nights are cooler and the leaves have touches of gold. I'm not sure where summer went this yar. Best to you, Elaine
